firstly, i saw these starry shorts and striped shirt and loved how well they went together :)) also, i don't understand why people think shopping at payless is tacky. also for that matter, i don't understand why people feel the need to buy brand name clothes. am i the only one who likes browsing around little clothing shops? i love the prospect of finding unique pieces that aren't necessarily mass produced.c: i don't think i'm too biased when it comes to clothes. if i like it, and it won't kill my wallet lolololol.
this is probably over 2 weeks overdue, but i honestly was not feeling very patriotic on the fourth o: but after a long night of reading "the book thief", i realized how lucky i am to be living in such fortunate conditions. while it isn't perfect, i'm thankful for our constitution, privileged rights given to us which we practically take them for granted. i'm thankful we are a democracy, giving power to the people. along those lines, i'd hate to sound cheesy, but i'm proud of the american spirit, which to me is individuals banding together to demand change (think back to american revolution, as well as each time something was changed in the constitution) , persevering while pursuing our ambitions (manifest destiny), and of course tolerance and appreciation for all of the diverse cultures this country is famous for. so happy belated birthday to the the land of the free, home of the brave, bless the usa <3
